Information we process
When a merchant installs or uses AliasBarcodes, the app processes the Shopify shop identifier; authentication and session information; product and variant titles, IDs, SKUs, native barcode values, and relevant variant metafield names and values; scan snapshots; billing-attempt identifiers and status; and migration audit information, including barcode sets immediately before and after an attempted update.
AliasBarcodes does not request or process customer records, order customer data, or payment-card information. Shopify hosts and processes one-time charge confirmation.
How we use information
We use this information only to authenticate merchants, find legacy barcode candidates, display previews, verify purchase status, perform merchant-confirmed barcode migrations, prevent duplicate work, diagnose errors, and retain migration audit records.
Service providers and sharing
AliasBarcodes communicates with Shopify through the Admin GraphQL and Billing APIs. Google Cloud Run hosts the production application and Neon hosts its PostgreSQL database. We do not sell merchant data.
Retention and deletion
When Shopify sends a valid app-uninstalled or shop-redact webhook, AliasBarcodes deletes the shop's sessions, scan snapshots, billing-attempt recovery data, migration jobs, and migration items. Information may remain temporarily in infrastructure logs or provider backup and restore systems according to the providers' retention practices. Application logs in Google Cloud's default log bucket are normally retained for 30 days.
Security
Authentication, token exchange, embedded request authentication, and webhook verification use Shopify's official application libraries. Access tokens and secrets are stored server-side and are not intentionally written to application logs.
Your choices and requests
Merchants can uninstall the app to end its access. For privacy, access, correction, or deletion questions, email 1107enoy@gmail.com.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected on this page by updating the effective date.
